Father Joel Phelps – First Mass

I have known Joel Phelps since he was about ten. His Parents Pat and Alane have been friends since they moved to Monticello. I was Honored to be asked to photograph this very spiritual day, Father Joel Phelps first mass. As a new priest, he served his first mass at his home church, St. Philomena Catholic Church. He was accompanied by the pastor Father Bruce Lopez, some of his  fellow Brothers, Sisters and Priests from the diocese. Following mass was a reception and Father Joel blessed many Family members, Friends, and congregants.
